2005 - current - Operations Executive in the French Office of an International Group

Operations: responsible for the office operations and related projects management:
− Creation, checking and maintenance of procedure manuals.
− Main contact for French and international stakeholders on compliance matters related to Terrorism, Taxes, Natural Catastrophes, Motor Third Party Liability in France.
− Management of specific schemes: Gareat (Terrorism reinsurance pool), and BCR (French co-insurance scheme for industrial and commercial risks).
− Preparation and publishing, in coordination with head office, of informative bulletins to stakeholders relating to process changes or sensitive issues.
− Translations of documentation or speeches.
− Training of team on various office procedures.

• Finance: responsible for all financial matters in the office (except payroll), preparation and control of:
− Annual Budget and forecasts.
− Monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.
− Taxes (Corporate Income Tax, Insurance Premium Tax and equivalent charges): declarations and payments.

Risk Management: responsible for spotting any potential issues related to the office or staff activities and prepare appropriate response to mitigate risks.
− Update and improvement of the Business Impact Analysis and Business Continuity Plan as well as the office Health and Safety policy.

• Development / Representation:
− French brokers applications review: financial analysis, reports and recommendations.
− Training of new accredited brokers to standards and processes.
− After Country Manager, responsible for maintaining good relationships with various regulatory bodies in France
− Production of the Country Development Plan (once exceptionally during country manager transition).

2000 – 2004 - Administrative assistant (operations) in the French office of an International Group

• Operations:− Responsible for the third party motor liability insurance administration with Senior Operations Manager and mediation contact point for customers.
− Control of Insurance Premium Tax and equivalent contributions.
− Implementation of new registration procedures for brokers and review of the applications (control and registration). Creation of a database listing all intermediaries.
− Press review.

Project Management:− Complete review of internal processes in dealing with French co-insurance : implementation of new procedures and overhaul of the IT system supporting the financial data.
